Does distance actually matter?
Honestly, less than most people expect. The parts of a project that benefit from being in the same room — understanding how a business really works, watching staff use an existing system, seeing a shop floor or a front desk in operation — matter most at the very start, and are worth a visit for larger projects.
Everything after that is better done remotely. You get a staging URL that updates as work progresses, so you can look at real progress whenever you want instead of waiting for a scheduled review. Questions go over WhatsApp and get answered the same day. Video calls handle anything that needs a conversation.
What genuinely does matter is time zone and language, and for Indian clients both are a non-issue. For overseas clients in the UK, UAE, USA and Australia, calls are scheduled to suit your working hours rather than mine.
